About Jenna Agricola

Poet, Storyteller, Creator

My Story

Jenna Agricola has been writing (and publishing) since she was just 12 years old. From poetry about the smell of vanilla published in the local newspaper, all the way to publishing her own digital chapbook, Jenna has always been an avid writer and an active participant in the poetry community. A recent Pace University grad, Jenna Agricola received a BA in English, and is currently going to San Jose State University to get her MLIS in Library Sciences and pursue her dream of being a children’s librarian!

Jenna’s published poetry can be found in Hickory Playground’s Quarantine Diaries, in her text-based adventure game, The Manor, and in her digital chapbook, Laundromat. Her earliest work (namely, that incredible vanilla poem) can be found in the Young Writers Project’s archives. Jenna has also been awarded the Sarah Willis Award and the Gerard Cannon Award for her writing.

Outside of her written work in poetry, Jenna has also most recently developed the website for Pace’s 2021 Poetry Festival, Butterfly Clips. Designed to be a throwback to the nostalgia of the early 2000s, Jenna has combined her penchant for funky and fun concepts with her desire to learn how to code and create in the digital world.
